Miriam Joseph named World Ambassador to the World of Community Service

World Ambassadors are students who have completed a year in one of the University at Albany's living-learning communities and demonstrated leadership within their communities. World Ambassadors have excellent interpersonal skills, a track record of academic success and strong leadership skills. World Ambassadors must be nominated by the L-LC faculty and are then selected and trained by Student Engagement. They mentor and provide transitional assistance to new freshmen who are entering Living-Learning Communities. Student Engagement, housed in the Office of the Vice Provost for Undergraduate Education, selected 50 World Ambassadors for the fall of 2016.
